Drop Off

Drop-off is a dive site for wall dives, located at the opposite site of the USAT Liberty Wreck and at the eastern end of the beach.

Visibility is often good at this site, 15 to 20m, especially in the morning. Currents are rare, or mild sometimes. Depth ranged from 10 to 60m. Marine life is similar to what you might have seen in the wreck, but of larger sizes! Bumphead parrotfish, barracuda, reef sharks are often spotted. This site is excellent for Macro diving too, nudibranchs, flouders, shrimps, ghostpipefish, ribbon eels, moral eels etc. Besides the marine life mentioned, the corals are amazing, profuse sponges and massive gorgonian fan corals, some with diameter over 2m!
